Bleed is 0.125 in on each outside edge. Keep text at least 0.25 in inside the trim. IngramSpark and other printers use different paper figures, so always confirm with your printer’s own cover template.
How it works
This calculator uses KDP paperback factors in inches per page: black ink on white 0.002252, black ink on cream 0.0025, standard color 0.002252 and premium color 0.002347. Full width is two trim widths plus spine plus 0.25 inch; height is trim height plus 0.25 inch.
A worked example
For 240 pages on cream paper, the spine is 0.600 inch. At 6 × 9 inches, the calculated full wrap is 12.850 × 9.250 inches including bleed.

These are KDP paperback estimates, not hardcover or IngramSpark dimensions. The input range does not certify that every page count is available in every ink, trim and paper combination. Use the printer’s official template before final production.
