How we look after your information.

Ink and Purpose Books is a book production division of Ink and Purpose Studios. This notice explains what we collect, why, and what we never do.

What we collect

• Project briefs: your name, email address and the details you give about your book.
• Your Author Desk account: your name, email, a securely hashed password, and a record of sign-ins.
• Your project: the files you upload, proofs, comments, approvals, messages, quotations and invoices.
• Payments: card payments are handled by Stripe on its own secure page. We never see or store your card number.

How we use it

Only to answer your inquiry, produce your book, send you messages about your project, and keep accurate business and tax records. We do not sell or share your information, send marketing without your permission, or use advertising trackers on this site.

Your manuscript

Your files are stored privately and are visible only to you and the studio members working on your book. We do not use your unpublished work for any other purpose, and we do not submit it to outside AI services. Files are checked for safety before anyone opens them.

How long we keep it

Project files are kept for 180 days after delivery and then deleted unless you ask us to keep them longer. Invoices and approval records are kept as long as the law requires for business records. Unconverted inquiries are deleted after 12 months.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in to your Author Desk. There are no analytics or advertising cookies.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (except records we must keep by law). Email the studio and we will reply within 30 days.
