Questions
Everything you might be wondering.
How much will my book cost?
Use the estimator on the pricing page for an instant range based on your book’s length, images and the services you need. After you send a brief, we confirm a fixed quotation listing every deliverable, the number of revision rounds, the schedule and the payment terms. Nothing is billed until you accept it.
How long does it take?
Every service has a standard turnaround of 2–3 business days from receipt of the final manuscript and images. A 24-hour rush is available for an extra charge. Your quotation confirms the schedule.
Do I keep the rights to my book?
Yes. You keep all rights to your writing and your book. We are a production studio, not a publisher, so we never take royalties or a share of your rights. You publish under your own account, with your own ISBN.
How do I send my manuscript?
Once your project is set up, you receive a private Author Desk. Upload your files there, not by email. Every file is checked for safety, is stored privately, and is only visible to you and the studio.
How do proofs and corrections work?
You read each proof page by page in your Author Desk and click the exact spot on the page to leave a correction. Every comment stays with the version it was made on. When the proof is right, you approve that version, and the approval is recorded with the date and your name.
Which printers do you prepare files for?
Amazon KDP and IngramSpark are the most common, and we work from your exact trim size, paper, binding and page count using the printer’s current specification and cover template.
How do I pay?
A deposit when you accept the quotation, and the balance before final files are released. You can pay invoices securely by card in your Author Desk, or by another method we confirm with you.
What if the printer rejects my file?
Send us the rejection report. If the problem was ours, we fix it at no charge. If it comes from a change in the book or the printer’s requirements, we’ll explain what is needed before doing any work.
Can you edit or proofread my writing?
Our work is design and production. We recommend having your manuscript professionally edited and proofread before layout, because changes after layout take longer and can affect page count and cover size.
Do you design covers from scratch?
We prepare print-ready covers from supplied or commissioned artwork: typography, spine and back cover, sized to your printer template. New illustration is scoped and quoted separately.
